Billed as "a new age red sauce restaurant where old school Italian cuisine meets the modern age," architecture plays a key role in supporting the traditional-meets-modern theme. Kalahari wished to transport dinners into a neighborhood Italian joint that feels as if it's been there forever. Architectural details were specifically designed to create the framework for the atmosphere owners envisioned.
The restaurant includes a large main dining room, spacious lounge, two private dining rooms and a roomy host station/entry. A generously-sized commercial kitchen allows for fast, efficient service and back of house operations.
Sortino's resides on the second floor of this Phase 2 building addition to the Phase 1 portion of the resort. Kalahari's fine dining signature restaurant, Double Cut, occupies the first level. Nestled next to the convention center, both restaurants pull in conventioneers and other resort guests with their unique dining experiences.
