Oak Park Place is a rapidly growing developer and operator of senior living facilities in the upper Midwest. Modern yet cozy, amenity-rich residences provide their clients a community atmosphere that encourages socializing and relationship-building.
Oak Park Place Nakoma in Madison offers both assisted living and skilled nursing as a CBRF, RCAC and SNF facility with a total of 73 units. Built on an irregular polygon parcel, the building footprint is designed as a response to the unique site constraints. Architects optimized site usage and elevated the architectural appeal with an outside-the-box design that includes a "bridged" wing of the second and third stories to provide covered parking for visitors beneath that building section. Allowing vehicles to pass under the bridged wing to the below-ground parking also solved traffic pattern challenges posed by the parcel configuration while maximizing building square footage.
