Noah's Ark requires hundreds of seasonal employees to bring the fun and excitement of "America's Largest Waterpark" to thousands of visitors each summer.
Ownership had provided employee housing in a converted hotel building, but wished to construct their own housing complex. Their vision was a welcoming, comfortable housing experience for their seasonal staff, many of whom come from other countries to work in the area.
Two buildings were designed by ADCI architects - a four-story, L-shaped housing facility and a single-story commissary. The dormitory-style apartment building houses up to 400 employees with potential to expand to 600 beds in the future and features a multi-station kitchen, living room, fitness center, laundry room and an employee training room. A cafeteria, commercial kitchen, convenience store and offices for Human Resources staff are housed within the commissary building.
Tones of brown with a teal accent carry through from the exterior and are accented by pops of vibrant color for a more energized interior ambiance.
