With thousands of seasonal workers coming from around the world each spring to the Wisconsin Dells area, dormitory housing is in strong demand. Our client envisioned a safe and welcoming campus-style setting of multiple apartment buildings and community center conveniently located near Dells area employers and shopping.
ADCI assisted with Site Master Planning to ensure the site was maximized to ultimately accommodate seven buildings. Built in multiple phases, the six 3-story residential halls feature three or four beds per dorm room; full private bath, refrigerator and microwave in each unit; and a common kitchen/dining area and community living room on each floor.
A recreation lounge and coin-op laundry are housed in the community center, along with campus administrative offices. Outdoor amenities include green space/recreation areas and ample bicycle parking as bicycles are the primary mode of transportation for most workers.
