When a well-known, Mauston (WI) business owner approached ADCI, he wanted to bring to his community what it didn't have...a single place for larger events, fine dining and upscale accommodations. Mauston is located just 20 minutes from the Wisconsin Dells tourist area, but lacked a venue of the caliber ADCI's client envisioned.
With that vision in hand, an architectural style reminiscent of the great lodges of the American West was developed. The grand lobby greets guests with a rustic, yet refined two-story interior comprised of stone, wood beams and truss features and a majestic fireplace along with touches of the western frontier, such as leather sofas and upholstered wing back chairs.
Off the main lobby, a full-service lounge features a decorative tin ceiling, wood paneled walls and an antique-looking bar for a nostalgic feel. Another large, stone fireplace sets the tone for the restaurant, while generous leather upholstered booths, aged metal wall sconces, artwork featuring the Old West and architectural details create a special atmosphere. The event center can accommodate up to 500 guests and includes a pre-function space. Guests can enjoy a relaxing dip in the hotel pool and hot tub or re-energize in the fitness room.
Gracious hotel rooms with wood-look floors, soft carpeting and natural, rustic interiors found throughout the property continue the western lodge experience. An entryway, hospitality niche, comfortable seating, slate walk-in showers, private balcony or patio and fireplace are featured in various room layouts.
